So how has your latest album, ‘Look At Me Now’ gone down so far with fans then?
So far the reception has been fantastic! The album seems to be resonating with fans, both old and new, and it’s been great to see all these positive reactions to it.
Tell us something about the release no one knows?
If my memory is correct, I think there were only two songs in total that we scrapped for the album. They might make an appearance in the future though, who knows.
If you could work with any band on a new song, who would it be and why?
I’d love to work with Igorrr, just imagine the stupid/crazy shit we’d come up with together!
Can you tell us about the meaning behind ‘Look At Me Now’?
We came up with several ideas for the title, and at the last minute Kitty came up with ‘Look At Me Now’ and it was perfect. It’s cheeky/slightly cocky, as are we, and it’s a little inside joke as well (if you go back to our “GREATEST EP IN HISTORY” video, you may catch the joke). And ultimately it really sums us up, releasing our debut album some nine years after the band was formed.
What tours do you have coming up, and what can you tell us about them?
We’re planning to start booking shows in the immediate future, but I can’t say much more than that. What I CAN say, however, is that we have a huge album launch party planned here in Liverpool on the 3rd of December and it’s going to be amazing! We have Liverpool’s Ogun opening for us and we’re gonna have drag shows, burlesque, horror themes performers, and a huge set planned with the usual Novacrow-esque shenanigans you’ve all grown to know and love!
What venue are you most looking forward to playing the most, and why?
No specific venues come to mind, we’re just excited to be getting back on the road and to be playing bigger and better shows in these next few years!
What else can we expect from you in 2022/2023?
We plan on doing some extensive touring and to dominate the world. We don’t quite know how we’ll go about doing the latter, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there.
