Hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah, Royal Bliss have been making their mark for several years with a consistent work ethic of writing, recording, and touring which has helped build strong U.S. success for the band and has seen them being included in the Billboard Top 200 and land a #1 position in Billboard’s Heatseekers. Their success carried over with their independently released ‘Waiting Out The Storm’ reaching #9 on the iTunes Rock Chart and #2 in Billboard Heatseekers. The band now bring their distinctive sound to U.K. press and radio with their “biggest single off the upcoming album”

Speaking of the track, vocalist Neal Middleton comments, “We started writing ‘Black Rhino’ in 2019 and the original meaning was about surviving as a live touring rock band in today’s crazy music industry. We finished the song in 2020 during the pandemic, so the lyrics ended up reflecting the times as well. It made me think that we are all an endangered species and life is a bit more fragile than we all thought. The ultimate theme of the song though, is we will pull through this if we stay strong and work together”

‘Black Rhino’ and the new album were recorded in one of Utah’s famous studios, June Audio. Acting as a base for artists such as Imagine Dragons and The Killers (who were in the room next to Royal Bliss when they recorded the album), this studio became second home to the band when their tour was cancelled in March 2020. They comment, “We thought what better place to be than in the studio if we can’t be on the road. So making this record was exciting and scary not knowing what was happening in the world.”
