So how has your latest album/EP gone so far with fans then?
LK: So far so good from what we can tell. All the feedback has been great and we’ve gained a lot of new fans.
Tell us something about the release no one knows?
LK: Ummm, if you play each track in reverse it’s actually a five part, Portuguese language class.
If you could work with any band on a new song, who would it be and why?
LK: Primus! Purely because of how abstract it would be.
How has your latest release been received?
LK: Our latest single, Something Beautiful, has been received really well.
Can you tell us about the meaning behind the track?
LK: The meaning behind Something Beautiful is that amidst chaos and destruction, there will always be something that survives. Something that makes it through to the other side that is inherently good. Like when you burn bacon… Nobody wants their bacon too burnt but it happens from time to time, so when you do ruin your bacon, just remember you’re still gunna have all of those nice li’l bacon bits in the pan when you cook your egg. Bacon bits are awesome, I think that’s what we’re trying to say.
What tours do you have coming up, and what can you tell us about them?
LK: We have a lot of sporadic gigs booked between now and our next tour but the next tour we have booked is a run at the end of November into December, starting in Edinburgh and making our way south from there. Any dates can be found on our website www.lunakiss.co.uk
What venue are you most looking forward to playing the most, and why?
LK: Legends in Edinburgh. We’ve never played the venue before so we don’t know what it’s like, however Edinburgh is a beautiful city that we’re looking forward to visiting.
What else can we expect from in 2022?
LK: Well we are releasing the music video for Something Beautiful on August 19th. Then we have one more single to release this year also with another music video.
