Dublin band TV People have dropped their second single of 2022 ‘Circle‘ today, with distribution by CD Baby. Since forming in 2019, the post-punk indie outfit have honed their craft across the live scene playing in some of Ireland and the UK’s most iconic venues.

A dramatic production style emerges on ‘Circle,’ building upon previous releases: ‘You Were Loved,’ ‘Shallow Minds,’ ‘Out of the Silence,’ ‘Kitchen Sinking,’ ‘Time Eats Up,’ ‘Nothing More,’ and ‘String.’ ‘Circle‘ is an exhilarating slice of post-punk at its finest. A track that dabbles in contrasts and keeps you on your toes, it simultaneously transports listeners sonically to a place of unsettle with a dash of twisted to be found between its layers of surreal and chaotic.

Speaking about the new single, singer Paul commented: “We wrote ‘Circle’ as a tribute to our loved ones and friends and to the countless times that we have relied on each other in times of difficulty. It explores the feeling of being lost within yourself and how you can find identity and meaning in the shared experiences and compassion of those around you.”

TV People are something special, their music fruitful with a distinct richness and route to escapism – an Irish talent to keep your eyes fixed on.
