Interview: Rabid Hood

So how has your latest album/EP gone so far with fans then?

It is very well received by fans and people in the industry so far and we are quite grateful for that. I think there is something about our music that makes people want to hear it and that is a sign that we are on the right track when it comes to write music.

Tell us something about the release no one knows?

Well of everything we have produced before, this is the best we have made,we have been pushing for many years in different bands and have learned a lot and we’ve taken that into Rabid Hood and the music speaks for itself.

If you could work with any band on a new song, who would it be and why?

Oh it must be Iron Maiden because it’s a great band and would have taken us to new heights when it comes to fans and opportunities. It is very important when you want to reach new heights in the music world and that hill is quite steep believe me.

How has your latest release been received?

I would say it has been well received, Spiteful has been/and beeing in several major magazines and played on radio all over the world, then we have many exciting offers from various labels and promoters and it is difficult to choose but we must ensure the best deal.

Can you tell us about the meaning behind the track?

We wanted to start a new melodic hard rock band and started recording some demo songs a few years ago but it stopped there. The songs remained untouched until the summer of 2021 then we brushed the dust off and decided to further develop Rabid Hood and the result I would say was very good, it is some of the best we have produced that’s pretty sure.

What tours do you have coming up, and what can you tell us about them?

We have several gigs going on and the first one is in August at a festival, the first is a festival in a local town so we are excited to show off what we’ve made so far. It will be the first live performance of Rabid Hood and it will be exciting how the audience receives us. We also work with touring abroad so we have a lot of work ahead of us.

What venue are you most looking forward to playing the most, and why?

It’s on our local stage in our own town, nothing is better than that. There you have blood fans who never let you down no matter what, feels good playing in front of our local fans.

What else can we expect from in 2022?

New album is on the way soon to be released and we want to get out there and play our music in front of live audience as much as we can. moreover, we will make Rabid Hood a hard hitting hard rock band that people notices and talks about, and I hope we will achieve that in this crazy music world we live in LoL. And that is our modest goal.
