So how has your latest single gone so far with fans then?
STEALTH: We just released our new single ‘The Fake new(s) World’ some weeks ago and we already received good feedbacks. The songs have had a lot of plays all over the world through our socials and streaming platforms. Now we can’t wait to play them live for the first time at Renaissance Alternative Music Festival in London on May.
Tell us something about the release no one knows?
STEALTH: We were about to record the scratch parts on the first song and Lorenzo, our guitarist, pointed out that he would never allow the presence of scratches in one of his songs until a few years ago. He was the only one not so convinced.
If you could work with any band on a new song, who would it be and why?
STEALTH: We grew up with Metallica and we started as a Metallica cover band so we would love to collaborate with them on a new song. Even if there are a lot of metal bands that deserve to be mentioned on this answer.
How has your latest release been received?
STEALTH: It’s been received good. We have got several messages from our fans who expressed their support for the band and shared their energy with us after listening to the new single
Can you tell us about the meaning behind the track?
STEALTH: Our new single ‘The Fake New(s) World’ was inspired by the world of fake news that today has the power to distort reality with often very serious consequences. Our guitarist Lorenzo wrote the lyrics of the main song included in the single while the B-Side ‘Like Father Like Son’ lyrics were written by the vocalist Ivan. This second song is also connected to the single title as it refers to the particular historical moment of the pandemic and the deleterious effects of social media if badly managed
What tours do you have coming up, and what can you tell us about them?
STEALTH: We will play at Renaissance Festival in London next May our first gig after long time. It’s our second time at the festival and we can’t wait for it. After that show let’s see what will come out for the summer but we do hope to be back to normal soon.
What venue are you most looking forward to playing the most, and why?
STEALTH: We would like to play everywhere basically. There are a lot of venues in the world where it is worth playing. We would love to play at the Electric Ballroom one day as this is one of the greatest and historic London’s venue.
What else can we expect from in 2022?
STEALTH: We are thinking to release a compilation of our best audio recordings by the 3rd of August 2022, to celebrate the band 25th anniversary. Probably there will be 12 songs, each of them taken from the 12 audio releases of these 25 years.
