Chris Moyles and Becky Hill were amongst guests watching 3x BRIT nominated Scottish alt-rock giants Biffy Clyro at the very intimate and sold out Hackney Church– their only London date before they embark on their European and North American tour. For those who were unable to snap up a ticket to the highly anticipated gig of the year so far, highlights from show are available now on the GlobalPlayer app.
The band played an exclusive acoustic gig as part of Radio X presents… with Barclaycard series, playing tracks from The Myth of The Happily Ever After, their 2021 internationally acclaimed follow up to their latest studio albums – ‘A Celebration of Endings’ (2020), ‘Ellipsis’ (2016) and ‘Opposites’ (2013) which all went straight to #1 on the UK’s Official Album Chart with millions of copies sold, boasting more than 950 million streams worldwide.
Speaking about how much the gig means to the band, Biffy Clyro’s Simon Neil said: ‘We’re delighted to be playing an acoustic show for Radio X in Hackney Church… a special venue for a special show.’
