Hello everyone, we now find ourselves walking through the ruptured soul of our being, each of us clinging to safety where we can find it. My dear friends Project Revise end this god-awful year with their cute and crunchy Pop Punk outing ‘Hopes and Dreams’. Who can say what the future will bring, music has been the saviour for many of us, soothing a hurt and betrayed nation, that has been left whimpering like an injured animal. This little ditty helps to fill the gaping crater that lockdown has created, with its savvy fretwork and simple yet effective lyrics, we can salute the new music that has been available to us. It is more than just a sticking plaster, music heals the inside, it evokes a rejuvenation that would otherwise elude us. These three plucky and punktastic dudes have been on my radar for a few years, always friendly and genuine in their outlook, with a sense of humour that glows brightly and accompanies the music perfectly.
This single builds on their previous works and keeps that signature sound and attitude that is much needed right now. Having been through two years of uncertainty, we travel further into a precarious situation, our artists work continually and with conviction as they believe in their creativity. Our job is to accept their efforts and push their names further into the limelight, lest they fade away without due recognition and reward.
Our hopes and dreams are what keep us alive and what keeps the fire in our bellies burning, in the face of adversity, they are our friends and our ammunition in the fight for freedom and fairness. As everything lies broken, it’s time to start over and fall for my friends here.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a safe and prosperous New Year.
