British country-pop singer/songwriter Twinnie is gearing up for her first headline tour of the UK with six dates booked in for this September. Originally pencilled in for March 2020 the run of dates have been postponed twice due to COVID lockdown rules so the gigs have been a long time coming for the York performer and her fans.
The upcoming concerts are in support of Twinnie’s debut studio album ‘Hollywood Gypsy’ which was released during the height of the Coronavirus pandemic in April 2020 – despite an unorthodox release the record still managed to make its mark with it being named as BBC Radio 2’s Album Of The Week,
whilst racking up in excess of 7 million streams across Spotify. The LP also broke the all-genre UK iTunes Album Chart top-ten and spent five consecutive weeks in the Official UK Country Album Chart top-ten peaking at number 2.
The forthcoming UK tour dates will see the English artist further building on her growing reputation within the industry and will allow her to further cement her status as the genre’s next breakout sensation. With her electric on-stage presence and outstanding live vocal Twinnie is a born entertainer and those in attendance are sure to be treated to a truly remarkable live show.
The performer will be joined on the road by US brother/sister pop-country duo Juna N Joey who will be bringing their fantastic vocal harmonies to the UK. Fast becoming one of the most exciting acts on
the circuit the pair will add a stellar dimension to the run of shows and act as the perfect opener before headliner Twinnie takes to the stage each evening.
Fans across Britain will be able to catch the pop crossover vocalist performing in Manchester, Glasgow, York, Birmingham, London, and Bristol. The dates will mark the first time Twinnie has headlined her own tour and follows on from her sold-out London show which took place at the Lexington venue back in 2019.
