One of the most important rock bands, Linkin Park, gets a very emotive version in the voice of Aline Happ. The singer and music producer, shows her musical ability and her vocal range in the A Capella version of “Numb”, one of the classics of the American group. With a blend of voices sang by Happ, the song gets even deeper, with the singer going from contralto to soprano. The version is available on Aline Happ’s YouTube channel.

Released in 2003, on the Meteora album, the track Numb reveals the anguish of vocalist Chester Bennington. The song reached the top of the Billboard Alternative Songs chart and stayed there for 12 weeks and reached number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song also features a remix called “Numb/Encore”- a collaboration with rapper Jay-Z, and won a Grammy for Best Rap Collaboration.
