My Heart Will Go On covered by Aline Happ

One of the most known songs of the 90’s, My Heart Will Go On”, from Céline Dion gets a version by the singer-songwriter, Aline Happ. The song was an inspiration for Aline, since she was a child. Founder, vocalist and main composer of Lyria, considered the greatest symphonic metal band from Brazil, Aline is now focusing on her solo career posting new videos on her YouTube channel and producing her first solo album, with renditions of rock and metal inspired by Folk and Celtic Music.

“This song is a very powerful ballad about love. I used to sing it when I was a kid, but professionally, the first time I sang it was in a solo concert, and now I decided to record it for the fans. Besides the vocals, I also produced the instrumental, mixing, mastering and the video. It was really cool to record this version”, says Aline Happ.

The single “My Heart Will Go On” was recorded to be the theme song for the movie Titanic (1997), and is considered the signature song of Céline Dion. Composed by James Horner, with lyrics by Will Jennings, the song is also on Céline’s album, “Let’s Talk About Love”, and became a global hit, with sales estimated at 18 million copies. The song is now on the Songs of the Century list by the Recording Industry Association of America and the National Endowment for the Arts.
