Aline Happ presents Classical crossover version of Tears for Fears’ Shout

One of the most popular songs of the British new wave, Shout, from Tears for Fears, gets a Classical crossover version in Aline Happ’s voice. With the addition of Folk, Celtic and Gothic elements, the singer-songwriter presents the song in a more mysterious way.

This is a song that can be interpreted as a call for freedom and for being yourself, fighting for a better life and world.”, defines Aline Happ.

The song is part of a series of reinterpretations that Happ performs on her YouTube channel, which already has versions of Rihanna, Linkin Park, Iron Maiden, and even, The Mandalorian. Some of the songs are also available on the most popular streaming and download platforms.

Released in 1984 on the album “Songs from the Big Chair”, the song reached the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100, in the USA, remaining for three weeks. Over time, it became a hit by the band Tears for Fears, but without ever leaving its original meaning: a shout against the old ways of dealing with the world, against what attacks you, against a government that oppresses your way of thinking.

The videos posted on Aline Happ’s channel are sponsored by her fans on Patreon.
