So how has your latest track been received by your fans then?
Our latest release was “What You See” a song that was released in both Swedish and English. It has gone well and we are really proud of it. It’s a strong song about stop caring so much what others think about you and the norm that society tries to force you into. The song encourages you to be your best and that best is just being yourself. Fans has really liked the song and we got a lot of feedback on the music video. The video has some live material on the band but also a lot of different people, ages etc singing along with the chorus. Music and especially Story Metal knows no borders and has no prejudices. And that’s a message that we seem to have gotten through to the listeners of this song.
It has been received well. Many people is playing it and if we count both the Swedish version and the English version it has over 50 000 streams on Spotify alone!
Tell us something about the release no one knows?
The song will be released as a German version. It will be released on a all German EP that will come later this year.
If you could work with any band on a new song, who would it be and why?
We would love to work with the great power metal guys from Sabaton. We really love their way of telling historical events through their music. We in Pressure to tell stories too, but not historical. So I would really like to see what would be the result of such a collaboration. I imagine it would have been epic.
What tours do you have coming up, and what can you tell us about them?
Well, we have no tours planned. We cannot plan anything as there is no bookings to be done now in the pandemic situation. Its really hard for bands and artists.
What venue are you most looking forward to playing the most, and why?
We love to play all kinds of venues. Its amazing to play a large venue and have a wall of sound behind you, but we also really enjoy playing small clubs because you get closer to the audiences and you are able to connect in a way which you cannot do when you are playing on a larger venue!
What else can we expect from in 2021?
The 7th of May we will release our first album. It’s a concept album called “Path Of A Shadow” and it’s a Story Metal album which tells your life story, but from your shadows perspective. You cannot escape from your shadow. He has walked with you through your life and he has been with you even when you thought you were alone. He has seen and felt it all, but he has never been judgemental or in anyway stopped you. He has just been there. Supporting you, having your back. For in the end, when you are in the most need and don’t know who to trust. You can always trust your shadow, because he is always around.
