The Snuts share video for ‘Glasgow’

As the band reach the climax of a tense chart battle with Demi Lovato, The Snuts today release the stunning sun soaked video for fan-favourite ‘Glasgow’. The track is taken from the band’s essential debut album, W.L., which arrived last week.

Directed and filmed by regular collaborators Forest Of Black (Liam Gallager, Foals, Biffy Clyro), the video was shot on a rooftop in Glasgow as the sun closes in on the city’s backdrop and takes the band under the cover of darkness.

“Glasgow is such an important track for us. It is a love letter to one of the greatest cities in the world.” Jack Cochrane said of the track. “For the video we setup our instruments on the top of a building in the city centre and performed to the Glasgow skyline whilst our lyrics ‘I’ll always love the way that you say Glasgow’ were being projected onto one of the most iconic buildings in the city.”

From their day jobs working in construction to grafting the toilet circuit, blood, sweat, tears and countless shows have been poured into the album. “W.L. is our lifetime work. It’s a collection of milestones and melodies that time stamp a dream we had becoming a reality,” Jack reflects. “It’s a record about being true, loving and resilient.”

Head to the band’s store where you can pickup up a very special edition bundle of the fully mixed and mastered audio from their recent euphoric Live From Stirling Castle show alongside a limited edition poster. You can also purchase the album on your choice of CD, Vinyl, and Cassette, along with a selection of merchandise and bundles.

Adored up and down the country for their uninhibited, sweat-drenched live shows, the band head out on a UK & Ireland tour in autumn  2021, including 3 sold-out dream shows at Glasgow’s Barrowland. Tickets on sale now from HERE
