With their highly-anticipated raucous, hook laden debut album, W.L. – out next month, The Snuts have announced a very special live stream show from Stirling Castle on 26th March. The event will give fans an exclusive opportunity to hear the album in its entirety ahead of release on 2nd April. Tickets for the event are available HERE.
“In an effort to play our debut record back to back for our fans we decided to rent out a castle,” Jack Cochrane said of the show. “And with a glimmer of hope on the horizon where live music is concerned, we wanted to make sure this was our grandest, most ambitious live stream show to date.”
The band released their infectious new single ‘Somebody Loves You’ in February, donating the entire production budget, along with the band’s label, Parlophone Records, also donating all proceeds from downloads of the single to the Scottish Refugee Council. A love song for the ages, the radio-ready indie-pop tune sees the band continue to redefine their sound, following the hip-hop driven ‘Elephants, the hauntingly heartfelt anthem ‘Always’ and the main stage festival ready hymn, ‘All Your Friends’.
Appearing on Sky News and BBC Newsbeat Jack kept busy throughout February, continuing his fight for support from Nicola Sturgeon and the Scottish Government for support for the live music sector.
Hailing from Whitburn, West Lothian, The Snuts have well and truly found their stride on W.L.. Produced by Tony Hoffer (Beck, Phoenix, M83) and recorded at the Firepit London, the album encapsulates the band’s journey from four working class kids growing up with a dream in Whitburn, to becoming one of the UK’s most exciting and vital bands of the new decade.
Adored up and down the country for their uninhibited, sweat-drenched live shows, the band have also announced a UK tour for May/June 2021, including 3 sold-out dream shows at Glasgow’s Barrowland. Tickets on sale now from HERE
