The Launchers are shooting for the stars with the release of their new single ‘Rainbow Children’ (Out 23rd March), mixed by the legendary Dave Bascombe (Depeche Mode, Tears For Fears, Peter Gabriel, ABC, Kylie Minogue, Manic Street Preachers etc) The single is the follow up to the acclaimed album ‘The Leader’ also produced by Bascombe.
The boys are no strangers to the stars, having already travelled to the moon and back gracing the same stage as legendary acts Madness, Geno Washington, Lee Thompson and Roddy Radiation (The Specials) which led to Sold-out shows and debut single, ‘Dutty Mouth‘ peaking at No.3 in the reggae charts.

Their vision for 2020 was clear, with recording studio schedules planned and a summer diary stacked with festival bookings. Yet by the Spring it became evident there was a need to evolve and embrace a new recording culture to reflect the ongoing restrictions of the pandemic. By the time the night came when the band were due to appear at the prestigious London International Ska Festival in mid-April 2020, the band had carved out a new way of working remotely together…

A spirit of re discovering the simple things in life, family values, taking forward the positives from Lockdown life.
