Rising UK rockers Kill The Ideal are set to release their brand new single ‘Save The World’ on Friday 8th January. The track features Swedish singer and Normandie Frontman Philip Strand and is taken from their highly anticipated upcoming EP ‘Against The World’ which will be released on 5th February 2021.
“As a band we went through hell to make this record. It defines everything that Kill The Ideal stand for. There was a point when we thought this record would never happen!” lead singer Wilson.
Having been written and recorded through a global pandemic, it’s a truly insightful and personal look into how the band and so many others see the planet right now.
“Although the last year has been mentally and physically challenging for everyone we wrote ‘Save The World’ to help at what hopefully is the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s been a very dark time with a lot of uncertainty but together we will unite and get through this. It’s down to us to Save The World. We wanted to do something seriously special with this track so It made perfect sense for us to team up with Philip of Normandie on this.”
This is the brand new single and focus track from their upcoming EP ‘Against The World’ which follows recently released singles Let’s Get Excited, Scream For Me and TEN, all of which have picked up over 150,000 streams on Spotify alone.
The seven track EP is a powerfully astonishing Alt-rock record both beautifully brutal and honest all at the same time. Recorded in Reading, England with producer Simon Jackman it features soaring vocals, insane guitar solos, infectiously emotive choruses and a thunderous rhythm section that gives the band a momentous yet authentic sound.
Kill The Ideal have been turning heads and causing waves throughout the rock scene with their bold and unique style. Recently they’ve been hotly tipped as ‘Breakthrough Artists’ from Rock Sound while reaching the top 10 in the iTunes official Rock Chart. KTI have also been championed by the likes of BBC 1, Kerrang!, The Pit (USA), Alt Press (USA), Loudwire (USA), Planet Rock, Upset Magazine and many other respectable publications. They’ve also had incredible success through streaming platforms, picking up editorial playlists across the board from Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer.
The band will be performing at two special sold out headline EP release shows (when safe to do so) and will also be appearing at HRH Ibiza 2021 alongside Skindred and Reef.
