The Mysterines to play a two-way live stream show at The Close Encounter Club

Following on from the success of their Live In Orbit sessions, The Close Encounter Club are proud to present a new immersive live stream show. Beaming directly to you, for one night only from 7:30pm (BST) on Saturday 17th October, The Mysterines will headline the one-off event, with support coming from Chappaqua Wrestling and LIME.

The performance will be the first of its kind from The Club, with the multi-camera visual spectacular transporting viewers to the room without having to leave the comfort of their own home. To secure your place in front of the intergalactic stage, make sure you get your ticket here

The streaming platform developed by C3 Productions will allow the bands to see up to 120 of their fans watching the stream at home at any one time on screens placed inside the venue. Viewers are able to watch the band but not other fans, with the option of turning their camera and audio off also available. This also means the bands will be able to hear viewers showing their appreciation in between songs from home too.

All of the stars are aligning for Liverpool-based headliners The Mysterines. Heralded by NME as the “nation’s next fearless rock gang” and working with The Coral’s James Skelly in the studio, the band’s blistering batch of rock solid riffs are sure to strike a chord with The Close Encounter Club’s audience. And with the promise of new material, it’s going to be a blast.

From the seaside to space, Brighton-based Chappaqua Wrestling and LIME will also be performing a selection of their surf rock gems on the evening.

Speaking about the upcoming event, The Close Encounter Club’s Art Director Joey Julliard says: “This immersive two-way live stream is an important next step for live music given the current restrictions. It’s going to mean a lot for the bands to be able to see their fans singing along, adding to the atmosphere. We’re excited to offer some Saturday night escapism to bring music fans together for a shared experience in isolating times.”
