Saint Raymond shares new single ‘Wide Eyed Blind’

Saint Raymond’s recent releases ‘Right Way Round’ and Love This Way have shown us how far he’s come as an artist. They have already received over 1.1 million streams and gained support from Radio 1’s Huw Stephens and been added to key playlists including Spotify’s New Music Friday, Spotify’s Indie Roadtrip and Deezer’s Brand New UKSaint Raymond has clearly raised his game earning renewed critical acclaim alongside resurgent devotion from fans. 
 
Saint Raymond now shares his new single ‘Wide Eyed Blind’ from his upcoming album which further shows his evolution. A reflective, laid back, guitar driven track highlighting his unique vocals that brim with soul and passion, trying to make sense of the end of a relationship.  Listen HERE.
 
Saint Raymond explains, “This song is about relationship breakdown. When you’re trying to be aware of absolutely everything and you kind of miss what’s happening right in front of you, hence the title Wide Eyed Blind.” 
 
The single is accompanied by a one-shot video filmed in Merstham. In a desolate location full of old deposited phone booths; it features an emotive performance from non-binary performer, writer and activist Tilda Wickham and Saint Raymond. Watch HERE.
 
Both ‘Love This Way’ and ‘Right Way Round’ feature on Saint Raymond’s upcoming second album, which will be released next year under a new deal with Cooking Vinyl. It follows his debut album Young Blood’, which debuted at#8 on the Official Album Chart and earned high profile supporters such as Annie Mac and Zane Lowe. His touring highlights have included three consecutive sold-out nights at the Scala, shows as guest to Lewis CapaldiEd Sheeran and Haim, plus landmark festival sets at Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds.
 
Saint Raymond has continued to accumulate millions of streams with the release of the EPs ‘A Light That Binds’and ‘3’. The new album is the culmination of two years of work, which he has dedicated his time to writing countless songs and experimenting then honing new ideas in the studio. 2021 will see Saint Raymond return in style with a new album and a return to the live arena.
