Hard-rockin’ and hard-livin’ Nashville trio The Cadillac Three have released a brand new version of the track ‘Hard Out Here For A Country Boy’… with extra ‘FUZZ’
The original version appeared on their hugely acclaimed fourth album Country Fuzz (out via Big Machine Records) earlier this year and featured country singers Travis Tritt and Chris Janson, but the band have given it a special re-boot for British fans, with lead singer Jaren Johnston handling all the vocal duties and the band stomping harder than ever.
Country Fuzz wowed their fans and critics alike with songs like ‘Labels’, ‘Heat’ and ‘Slow Rollin’ fusing their core elements of rock and country in ever-more exciting style while the band also explored new territory with heavy funk on tracks like the super-charged ‘Blue El Camino’ and the devil disco ‘The Jam.’
It showcases the fact that The Cadillac Three are Nashville’s most versatile band, with a whole range of instinctive sonic tendencies. Made up of singer-guitarist Jaren Johnston, drummer Neil Mason, and lap-steel player Kelby Ray, the trio have been performing together for over a decade and are known for their wildly exciting and unpredictable live show.
The Cadillac Three have toured the U.S. and Europe both on their own and with country A-listers Eric Church, Dierks Bentley and Luke Bryan, plus iconic rockers such as Metallica and Slayer. The band have picked up numerous awards including Best New Band at the 2014 UK Classic Rock Roll of Honour Awards and received a 2019 CMA International Award nomination for International Artist Achievement. Both collectively and individually, Johnston, Mason, and Ray have been nominated for GRAMMY and ACM Awards.
As the pandemic has touring on pause, The Cadillac Three have created Country Fuzz Presents as a way for musicians and their hometown venue The Basement to keep the music going as a virtual concert across the globe, while also supporting the local community through Second Harvest Food Bank. The band will be announcing more exciting news for fans worldwide later this year.
