Following the release of his new single ‘The Greatest’ where profits are being donated to the NHS and World Health Organisation (WHO), James Blunt continues to help those fighting against Covid-19 with the release of his hour long hospital radio show, ‘The Greatest Hour’.
The cheerful show, in aid of those either suffering with or tackling Covid-19, will be played in NHS hospitals across the country and feature James’ usual self-deprecating humour, with an array of feel good tunes and loads of gratitude to those working in the frontlines of the pandemic.
The show will be broadcast to patients and workers alike by the Hospital Broadcast Association, which is celebrating fifty years since its inception in 1970. Today it represents 170 hospital, health and wellbeing stations across the UK, all powered by thousands of volunteers who ensure patients across the country are entertained 24 hours a day with a personal, local radio service. On the collaboration with James a spokesperson said, “We are thrilled James wishes to thank NHS staff in this way; the show will make a fantastic addition to hospital radio schedules during this difficult time.”
