3 FANTASTIC FESTIVALS FOR SUMMER 2021
Rewind The 80s Music Festival, the world’s first and biggest 80s music festival, is back for 2021 at the glorious Temple Island Meadows, Henley-on-Thames from Friday 20th August – Sunday 22nd August 2021. Now in its twelfth year the Rewind South festival features a fantastic line up of the biggest acts from the 1980’s.
Following the rescheduling of the festival, sadly a couple of acts couldn’t make the new dates due to prior commitments one of whom is Nick Heyward – but Rewind is delighted that Rewind Favourite Marc Almond is available and will join the all three festivals next year.
Marc said “I am very excited to be playing all three Rewind Festivals in 2021. I’ve played Rewind many times before the experience has always been amazing. I really love the passion and excitement of the Rewind audiences. Get those Pink Flamingos at the ready and see you in 2021!”
Sunday night will by headlined by the legendary Wet Wet Wet, making their Rewind Festival debut. Wet Wet Wet frontman Kevin Simm said “We’re very excited to play Rewind for the first time, it looks like a lot of fun!” Drummer Tommy Cunningham added “We can’t wait to play all our hits for you, it’ll be a brilliant night.” Wet Wet Wet have sold in excess of 15 million singles and albums to date, featuring in the official UK charts for over a colossal 500 weeks and their albums have been certified 20 x platinum in the UK alone.
Completing the stellar line-up are Billy Ocean, Bananarama, Soul II Soul, Trevor Horn, Band, Go West, Nik Kershaw, Roland Gift of Fine Young Cannibals, Nick Heyward, Peter Hook & The Light, Hue And Cry, Limahl, Grandmaster Flash, The Christians, Cutting Crew, Pete Wylie – The Mighty Wah!, Captain Sensible, Aswad, John Parr and Katrina From Katrina & The Waves
