BLACK GRAPE announce a 25th-anniversary tour of ‘It’s Great When You’re Straight’

As debut albums go Black Grape’s ‘It’s Great When You’re Straight’ is pretty much perfect. The opening line “There’s nothing more sinister as minsters in dresses” kicked open the door to the lyrical genius that is Sean W. Ryder and his new partner in rhyme Manchester rapper Kermit. ‘Kelly’s Hero’, ‘Reverend Black Grape’, ‘In The Name Of The Father’ and ‘Shake Your Money’ all remain timeless musical gems.

Kermit & Ryder take to the 100 Club stage
“Oh Pope he got the Nazis
To clean up their messes
In exchange for gold and paintings
He gave them new addresses
Clean up your messes”

The tour starts in Cardiff on October 1st and finishes on October 31st in Aberdeen.
