It is almost impossible not to dance, skank or throw whatever shapes you can to The Skapones once them 2-Tone brass bones start stomping. The band’s latest single is the loafer polishing, sharp pressed ‘Dorian’s Going Grey’ which much like The Skapones is fresh yet nostalgic for those heady 2-Tone years. The flip side is ‘Song For The Men Of England’ remixes the ever-relevant ‘Benefit Street’ with some solemn spoken word poetry and pan pipes (I think). This release is further proof (if needed) that The Skapones are the real deal and definitely one to catch live once this Country returns to some form of gigging normality.
