Shirt Potatoes video can be watched here:

Shirt Potatoesfurther demonstrates Bootyard Bandits’ songwriting capabilities: it showcases an unapologetic band clearly owning the country rock genre, not afraid to dip into the heavier side of rock whilst proudly embracing a Wild West aesthetic.

The band comments: “Shirt Potatoes: A phrase coined by an old farmer friend of ours back in the day. This song is a romantic tale all about lost love, regret and one man’s flagrant disregard for material possessions when faced with important life choices. We headed to the farm to film the video for this one. It’s got everything: Tractors, combines, hay bales, 4x4s, guns and cowgirls. What more could any self-respecting country rock fan need!?”

Hailing from Worcester the country rock five-piece gained attention amongst the media with their hilariously gruesome Lego stop-motion video for the single Hoedown Showdown. The band already has great live experience under their belt having toured Europe with a 20-date tour supporting pirate metallers Alestorm and ambushed the UK as special guest to Massive Wagons. Their energetic live shows are fast gaining a unique reputation amongst the fans, with their Wild West elements in full display on stage and their characteristic soundscape blasted at full volume.

Stay tuned for further announcements… there is more coming your way.
