After a very successful 2019, Yorkshire / Manchester based progressive tech metallers Sertraline are coming for 2020 in a big way. After a year packed with live shows, festival appearances and the release of their most successful single so far, Relapse, Sertraline are delighted to announce their first new music of 2020 – the brand new single Inside Out! Packed with soaring vocals, intricate instrumentation and the best tech metal flavoured riffs this side of Meshuggah, Inside Out shows how Sertraline have once again raised their game, building on the success of Relapse and carrying it forward into 2020.
Inside Out is the first single to be taken from Sertraline’s new EP – Clouded Minds & Silver Lines, which will be released on the 15th of May 2020. The EP is available to pre-order now in a variety of bundles, as well as on its own.

For a word from the band on their new single, here is Sertraline’s guitarist Mike Hawkings:
“Fans of ours will notice the differences between this track and our previous songs pretty immediately I think, much more emphasis on tight rhythms than before, but still a lively and uplifting chorus which makes this a hugely satisfying song to play.”
Meanwhile, frontwoman Lizzie Parry had this input about the lyrics from Inside Out:
“Lyrically, this song explores the common saying “actions speak louder than words”. The song encourages you to trust your instincts when it comes to trusting others.”
Sertraline recently announced their first UK tour for 2020 – a run of shows in May across the Midlands, the North of England and Scotland with their good friends, London alt-metallers Derange. Before that, Sertraline will appear at the Primordial Radio Long Road To Brewin’ show in Liverpool, where they will appear as special guests to headliners InVisions and also take part in a charity show in Derby in April, raising funds for MIND.
