Naked Next Door Announce New EP ‘Swerving Out Wide’

Milton Keynes indie-rockers NAKED NEXT DOOR have announced the release of their new EP ‘Swerving Out Wide’ (Honest Records) and released first track ‘Save It’ with an accompanying music video.

‘Save It’ is a deeply personal emotive song written by front man Euan Emerton. Euan says, “The lyrics are to the point, telling it how it is, and just being very honest about taking it too far and over-indulging to ease the holes in your heart. The song is a response to family and friends saying that I know I messed up but ‘save it’… I’m done with the lectures, advice, and worry, and I’m ready to put things right.”

The thoughtful anthem is accompanied by a music video that flips between the band on a night out on the town and a passionate high energy live performance; something they’re well known for.

Naked Next Door hit the studio at the end of 2019 to record their 6-track EP ‘Swerving Out Wide’, which includes 5 new songs recorded, produced, and mixed by Larry Hibbitt (Seagirls, Bloxx, Nothing But Thieves, etc.), and a stripped down bare bones version of fan favourite ‘Not Much Of Me’ which was recorded by Euan and Corin from the band, along with Joe Garrett.

Naked Next Door came together 3 years ago when they were just 17 years old, and they quickly became a band of brothers. Their vast sounding full-hearted songs brimming with gritty high-spiritedness have enabled them to rapidly grow their fan base and sell out hometown shows.
