Twisted Sister frontman and solo artist Dee Snider is supporting an online campaign to get legendary Aussie rockers AC/DC to play the prestigious Superbowl halftime show in 2021. NFL teams have consistently used “Rock” music on their stadium p.a’s during games, however, the sport’s showpiece has constantly ignored Rock & Metal bands in favour of safer mainstream pop performers. The Superbowl is one of the most-watched sporting events in the world and its halftime extravaganza is as much a part of the day as the game itself. During the 2020 Superbowl advertisers paid up to an eye-watering 5.6 million dollars for a thirty-second commercial.
