Heart of Gold release video for new track ‘See Through’

Manchester’s synth pop artist HEART OF GOLD are currently on the road in the UK as support to South Carolina shoegazers HUNDRETH, having joined the tour in Manchester last Sunday andending the run in London on the 17th of February. Today, the solo project of BEING AS AN OCEAN guitarist Michael McGough has released a video for soaring new track ‘See Through’, via SharpTone Records

On the new track, Michael comments: “‘See Through’ is about the realities people face behind closed doors. Whether it’s a touring musician, an artist, a person of any social status, behind closed doors you’re still human and can face the same adversities as anyone else, whether it’s loneliness, depression, separation anxiety etc. It’s a very personal song, in which I’d find myself getting home from tour and sitting in my room with no-one to talk to, nowhere to go, just waiting for the next time I had to leave. One extreme to another with no real middle ground’.

Earlier this week, the band announced they will soon tour the EU/UK as support to Aussie rockers HANDS LIKE HOUSES and Stockholm-based NORMANDIE. South Africa’sprog electro rock outfit GO THE RODEO will complete the line-upthat runs through several dates in May and June.Tickets are on sale now and all dates read as below.
