Better Noise Music is proud to present Country artist Cory Marks who has just released a new video for his latest single “Blame It On The Double.”
The third single off his upcoming debut album, WHO I AM, “Blame It On The Double” has a fresh country sound with a signature rock feel. Marks explains “Blame It On The Double is country/rock small town party anthem! When good times are had on a Saturday night with your crew and a little whiskey there’s always a chance for trouble. Don’t blame me man, blame it on the double!”
“In a year where rock music struggled to find its footing on the album and song charts, a hard-rock and country crossover from newcomer Cory Marks has been a breakout success” – Billboard Magazine
Marks’ prior single, “Outlaws & Outsiders” (featuring Ivan Moody, Travis Tritt and Mick Mars), debuted at…
#1 on Billboard’s Top Rock, Hard Rock Digital Songs and Country Digital Song sales charts
#1 on Soundscan’s US and Canadian Rock Genre charts
#2 on Soundscan’s Canadian Country Genre chart
#1 on iTunes Country Songs Charts in Canada
#5 on iTunes Country Songs charts in the UK and Australia
#1 on the Amazon Outlaw & Progressive Country charts
#3 on the Amazon Country New Releases chart
The video for the track has garnered over 7.5 Million views and the track itself has over 5 Million streams globally.
Full of autobiographical storytelling, guitar-driven anthems, drinking songs, and breakup ballads, Cory Marks’ songs are rooted in the influence of his hometown, North Bay, Ontario. Listening to Deep Purple, Ozzy Osbourne, Rush and outlaws like Waylon Jennings and Merle Haggard, Marks weaved the two genres into his own unique sound, earning him a string of gigs with heavyweights like Toby Keith and Brantley Gilbert along the way.
Marks will be touring with Canadian Country star, Gord Bamford throughout Canada on the #REDNEK Music Fest Tour in 2020.
