Well my friends the end of 2019 is nigh and what better way to finish the year than with another surprise – we had Vildhjarta earlier- and now our home grown grind merchants Carcass are back and they are armed, as we are coaxed gently ‘Under The Scalpel Blade’, now don’t all rush at once, form an orderly queue please.
This sprightly little number gallops along madly and is all growly vocals, thumping drums and gut-skewering guitars, and to add further embellishments we have a staggeringly canny tempo change at 1.36 and high octane rifferama at 2.37 to kick your miserable butts into 2020. Technically sound and quality musicianship makes the six- year gap less painful, so welcome back boys and let’s see in the New Year with more new material.
