A brand new music platform aimed at connecting artists and fans in a crucial new way is launching on 10th December at 5pm GMT with an exclusive online event with Liam Payne. The innovative new app, QJAM, celebrates the former One Direction member’s long awaited debut album by offering fans around the world an opportunity to talk one-to-one in a live video chat. Each fan then walks away with a personally signed digital artwork of his album ‘LP1’, out now on Capitol Records. This experience modernises the record store album signing experience in a fresh and innovative way. Making meaningful personal connections with fans in far flung places is vital for artists in a global streaming era. QJAM now provides artists with the tools to host their own signing events from any location and engage with fans at a crucial time around release. The app has been developed through a new partnership between the music and tech worlds, bringing together seamless, intuitive usability with an acute understanding of the modern music industry. Co-founders are Toby Harris who brings 15 years of music industry experience, owning independent label, management and D2C company 100% Records (Robyn, Moby, Björk, Gossip, OMD and Skunk Anansie), alongside tech pioneer Anthony Rose who oversaw the development of the BBC iPlayer and founded SeedLegals. QJAM are collaborating with strategic creative agency Cantine to ensure the QJAM experience creates a truly unique fan and artist experience. Talking about the concept of QJAM, co-founder Toby Harris says… “It’s now more important than ever for artists to find exciting new ways to establish strong, lasting connections with their fans around the world. With QJAM we’re creating intimate, valuable experiences that bring artists and fans together in a way that hasn’t happened before. We’re driven by a desire to make this exclusive experience completely inclusive and maximise organic social growth. It’s time to bring in store signings into the now, and bring artists closer to their fans, wherever they are in the world.” Find out more and keep up to date with new artists events at https://qjam.com.
