US 4 piece HUNNY have shared a music video for “Saturday Night” (feat. Bleached) off their debut full-length album Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. (July 19). “Rather than putting together the same old performance video of a band playing in a room, we decided to play with visual perspective by building our own room to play in,” explains guitarist Jake Goldstein. “After some light trigonometry and heavy carpentry we were left with a magic room that creates exaggerated changes in size of the people within it. We hope it captures the mind bending elation of being in on a Saturday Night.”
Inspired by their love for ‘80s new wave and ‘90s pop, Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. is an endless back-and-forth between heavy-hearted lyrics and bright-and-shiny melodies, lovesick confession, and addictively dancey rhythms. Produced by Grammy Award-winner Carlos de la Garza (Cherry Glazerr, Culture Abuse, Paramore), the album came to life in November 2018 during the Woolsey Fire and Camp Fire that devastated 96,949 acres of land in Southern California.
HUNNY will be going on their first European tour in February 2020 supporting Cavetown. See below for the list of dates. Tickets are available HERE.
HUNNY is Jason Yarger (vocals), Jake Goldstein (guitar), Kevin Grimmett (bass, keyboards), and Joey Anderson (drums).
