Saint Agnes have shared the visuals for the latest single ‘Brother’, out now on Death or Glory Gang Records, taken from their new EP The Family Strange due for release next year.
Self-directed and edited by the band, the video was filmed on a night vision camera in pitch black. Saint Agnes give you a window into the playfully disturbing world they have created around their forthcoming EP – meet the murderous rabbit and the twins of evil, see a cowboy electrocution and a crime scene blood bath.
About the video for ‘Brother’ vocalist/guitarist Kitty A. Austen says: “This is a home recording of a night in with my family. Me, my twin sister, my big brother and my homicidal pet rabbit. We are The Family Strange. Welcome to the family.”
Later in October Saint Agnes will be embarking on a headline UK tour hitting: Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Cardiff, London, Leceister and Sheffield. The tour follows a formidable festival season, including performances at Isle of Wight Festival, Rock for People, Camden Rocks, Truck Festival, Standon Calling, Y Not, Handmade, Great Escape and many more.
‘Brother’ has already seen support from Classic Rock and METRO, and Spotify’s New Noise and All New Rock playlists, and is the first new material since the band’s goliath debut album ‘Welcome To Silvertown’ which smashed 4 million streams on Spotify within three months of release.
Consisting of Kitty A. Austen (vocals/guitar), Jon James Tufnell (vocals/guitar), Ben Chernitsky (bass) and Andrew Head (drums) – Saint Agnes’ debut record ‘Welcome To Silvertown’ received acclaim from the likes of Kerrang!, The Independent, Classic Rock and more, following radio support from Tom Robinson (BBC 6 Music) and John Kennedy (Radio X).
