Hispanic recording artist and songwriter ANTH, known for his collaborative work on hit albums from Conor Maynard (British singer, songwriter, and YouTuber) and Allstar Weekend (Hollywood Records), is creating a name for himself as a solo artist with the release of his new single Medicine featuring Maynard. The song is now available on all digital platforms with the thought-provoking music video premiering on ANTH’s YouTube page.
Co-written by ANTH and Maynard, “Medicine” was inspired by life experiences and the depths of toxicity that some relationships endure, whether it be romantic or between a parent and child. The music video captures chill-inducing content while the song replicates hot-and-cold rapport beginning with Maynard’s soothing pop vocal and lashing into ANTH’s insightful rap verses.
“I’ve been an independent artist for over 10 years and this is my first ever release with a record label,” said ANTH. “It’s a very surreal feeling and I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity as well as having such an incredible team behind me. I’m also thankful to have my brother Conor Maynard apart of this record. We used to always talk about releasing an official single together one day and that day has finally come. I’m proud of this record and put my heart into it. I hope everyone enjoys ‘Medicine’ and I can’t wait to see everybody on tour this fall.”
ANTH will be joining Maynard for a US/European tour this fall, which kicks off on Oct 5 in Stockholm, Sweden and will stop in top markets such as London, Berlin, Paris, Chicago and Los Angeles (see routing below).
“The fact I get to release an official single with my brother is an amazing feeling,” said Maynard. “We’ve been working together for 10 years now and we’ve finally got there. I really hope everyone enjoys it, it’s very hard hitting, I hope people can resonate with the message.”
As a songwriter, singer, and rapper producing urban/pop records that have accumulated 600 million views on YouTube and over 45 million streams on Spotify, ANTH is no stranger to the spotlight. In 2018, his original single “Too Much To Drink” surpassed over 43 million views on YouTube. ANTH is managed by First Access Entertainment.
