Harbinger Announce Departure of Vocalist Thom Gardner

Harbinger Announce Vocalist Thom Gardner To Leave The Band

UK Tour in October will be Thom Gardner’s Last Shows with Harbinger

BAND STATEMENT

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the departure of our vocalist Thom.

Although we are sad to hear of Thom’s decision to move on, we are extremely excited for our future. This is not the end of Harbinger. We have set the wheels in motion to find the right vocalist for our plans, and are hugely optimistic about prospects for the future. Our headline run with Godeater will be Thom’s final tour with Harbinger and he will fulfil our one-off appearances until the end of this year. If you haven’t had the chance to see us live with Thom, this is your final chance. Let’s give him the send-off he deserves – and celebrate what we have achieved since 2015.

Here are some words from Thom regarding his departure.

“Seeing Harbinger grow from a solo project, a former band and what it is today makes me proud as the original vocalist since 2015 but the time has come for me to move on. Everything we have achieved as a band – especially as an unsigned one in the last year – has been amazing and I cannot thank the guys and all of our fans enough for the things that I have been lucky enough to experience.

To all of the friends I have made throughout the years, thank you for involving yourself, believing and investing in Harbinger in any way you have. It means the world to me and the boys and I hope you continue to do so for them and for me with any future musical endeavours I pursue.

There’s absolutely no bad blood between me and the rest of Harbinger, I simply do not wish to hold them back when my heart isn’t 100% in it. Our self-released album “Compelled To Suffer” has been a great success and I leave satisfied knowing that a fantastic first full-length album will push Harbinger to where it needs to be in 2020 and beyond and I wish the guys all the best.”

We genuinely wish Thom all the best for the future, and there’s no doubt that he will remain one of our best friends.”

Having recently returned from the European leg of the Sounds Of Carnage Tour with Rings Of Saturn, Nekrogoblikon, Mental Cruelty & Left To The Wolves, asd well as destroying stages across Europe and at Tech Metal and Bloodstock Festivals, Harbinger hit the UK in October in support of their highly acclaimed debut album “Compelled To Suffer” UK Tour.  Scottish tech-death metallers Godeater are main support.
