Bastille have just unveiled the official video for “Bad Decisions,” a track from the band’s critically acclaimed new album, Doom Days. In the brilliant new video frontman Dan Smith plays author Dr. Dan Bastille, plugging the self-help book Bad Decisions in an infomercial. While Dr. Dan dispenses questionable advice, the camera follows a collection of erratic colourful characters wreaking havoc as the night unfolds. Bastille will perform on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” tonight. The band’s extensive North American tour continues with shows also scheduled in both Canada and Mexico across the two-month run. The band will then return to the UK to embark on a special run of ‘Doom Days’ club shows. The shows will give fans the opportunity to hear the record played live in its entirety in far reaching corners of the UK away from the traditional touring route.
Over the summer Bastille played huge festival slots across the UK and Europe with acclaimed sets at both Glastonbury and Reading. The band released their critically acclaimed third album Doom Days in June which takes listeners on a big night out in search of distraction from the surrounding apocalypse.The album charted in both the Top 5 in the UK and U.S and debuted at No.1 on Billboard’s Alternative Album Sales chart. Lead single “Joy” has amassed more than 70 million combined streams globally.
Last week, Bastille releaseda very special version of “Million Pieces”. Recorded in Studio two at Abbey Road studios, the track features the Chamber Orchestra of London and was released as part of the Amazon Original series.
