“Hatsune Miku” the internationally beloved virtual singer is coming to Europe for her second European concert tour, “HATSUNE MIKU EXPO 2020 EUROPE”. Miku will be heading to five cities including London to perform at the prestigious O2 Academy Brixton on Saturday 11 January 2020; followed by dates in Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam and Barcelona.
The Japanese music sensation and virtual pop-star – created by Crypton Future Media – is a 16-year-old girl with neon-blue hair, whose 3-D graphic persona performs on stage with a full live band. A unique voice with prodigious energy, she is an incredible talent who has opened for Lady Gaga during her 2014 artRAVE: ARTPOP Ball Tour, been launched into space twice, collaborated with Pharrell Williams and made her TV debut on the David Letterman show.
With anime culture so rich in Japan, her Japanese software manufacturer creators launched a voice synthesizer programme with a character and she was born in 2007 for users to creates songs with “Miku”. Since Miku’s creation and now with tens of thousands of music videos and songs associated with her name, she’s had millions of hits on YouTube and toured her most shared singles, with worldwide shows in the United States, Indonesia, Japan, China, Malaysia, and Europe all sold out; including one of her most recent gig at London’s Olympia in December 2018.
