Roam release new song ‘Turn’ with music video

On the verge of releasing their third album ‘Smile Wide’, which is out this Friday via Hopeless Records, ROAM have unveiled a final taster of the record with new track ‘Turn’. “‘Turn’ is about turning a bad situation around and not letting what you’ve been through decide who you are,” says vocalist and guitarist Alex Adam. “We want to encourage action when you feel disheartened and out of control,” he continues, addressing the thread that runs all the way through ‘Smile Wide’ and is certainly pertinent to the modern world. “I think in the current climate, we’re in a place where we’re being led by people who don’t have a f*cking clue, and who are f*cking up huge decisions that affect everyone, on a daily basis. Don’t let people walk all over you, you are capable of changing your own situation and ultimately maybe even affecting change on a much bigger scale.”

ROAM will be heralding the new album’s arrival with a special acoustic set at Banquet Records this Friday. They’ll also be heading out on a co-headlining tour of the UK with labelmates With Confidence following the record’s release in what’s sure to be a party and a half every night and will be  a first opportunity to usher in the ‘Smile Wide’ era in a full live context. Known for their effervescent performances, including crowdsurfing on inflatables and on-stage backflips, this is a tour not to be missed.
