Cold Years release music video for new single, ‘Breathe’!

Hotly tipped Aberdonian rockers, Cold Years, have released incisive new single Breathe, an honest three minute punk rock paean, dealing with self-doubt, recovery & valour that has never felt so necessary.

“With ‘Breathe’, it was about putting everything I’d felt over the past couple of years on to paper,” says frontman Ross Gordon. “I went through a hard time during ‘Northern Blue’, I didn’t care about anything other than what was in the next glass.  I was questioning why I even wrote music anymore.”

This song came just at the right time and as a band it really forged what we wanted to do with this (forthcoming) record. It was completely collaborative, a fresh start, a fresh canvas, and it rejuvenated us. I fell in love with writing music again.  I was laying out everything on the table and taking a gamble.”

The soulful rock’n’roll quartetkicked off 2019 by being named by Kerrang! Magazine as one of the ‘Hottest Bands of 2019’ alongside The Fever 333 & Yonaka, followed by 2000 TreesThis Is Tomorrow & King Tuts Summer Nights festival announcements and a UK tour with Philadelphia punk-rock stalwart Dave Hause.
Breathe, is the first single from the band’s forthcoming debut album, which will be released on new entertainment One imprint Inside Job.

Cold Years play the 2000 Trees Festival later this month.
