Glaswegian pop-rock frontrunners Lost In Stereo return with the massive new single ‘Adrenaline’, following the release of their stellar debut EP Famous First Words, ahead of their debut performance at Download Festival next weekend.
‘Adrenaline’ certifies their standing as one of Glasgow’s alternative favourites, welcoming the quartet’s regenerated sound. Expanding on their debut material, Lost In Stereo demonstrate a fierce new direction with bouncy catchy hooks in the bag. A true earwormer in melody, the lifeblood of ‘Adrenaline’ is the intense and soaring vocals of Ellis Hills, which conduct driving guitars and punchy upbeat percussion seamlessly through the track.
Speaking on Adrenaline, frontman Ellis Hill says;
“Adrenaline is about a guy finally building up the confidence to talk to a girl after a few drinks – we wanted to write a song that had a ‘holy f*ck, here we go’ attitude that everyone could relate to, instead of making it a sad love song.” The band continues “This song is us taking our music in a new direction. We changed things up and began incorporating ideas from a variety of influences from lots of different genres to make the most natural form of music we can produce. It’s definitely a little different from our older stuff and we can’t wait for everyone to hear it”
Fresh from a blistering performance at this year’s London all-dayer Camden Rocks, Lost In Stereo are set to bring their energetic live show to Donnington Park this summer for their debut appearance at the UK’s alternative goliath, Download Festival, as well as returning to Glasgow’s Summer Nights series.
