Take Today Announce UK Tour Plans

Following on from the exciting announcement of their new single Lifeline, out this Friday (June 7th), Glasgow rockers Take Today have announced plans to take their new music on the road for a full UK tour at the end of June.

Take Today will hit the road alongside Toreador for six shows in England and Scotland at the end of June, including a hometown Glasgow show at Nice N Sleazy on the 25th of June and a London date at the Hope & Anchor on the 27th. The full list of shows is as follows:

Take Today & Toreador UK Tour – June 2019

24th – Edinburgh – Sneaky Pete’s
25th – Glasgow – Nice N Sleazy
26th – Leeds – Fox & Newt
27th – London – Hope & Anchor
28th – Southampton – Suburbia
29th – Manchester – Castle Hotel (Take Today Only)

The tour will be the first chance to hear Take Today’s new single Lifeline in the flesh. Lifeline represents the first step in an evolution of the Take Today sound, showcasing that they can deliver melodic hooks and soaring vocals with the best of them, and then inject a serious burst of heaviness, all within the space of three and a half minutes. Take Today cannot wait to unleash Lifeline upon the world at the start of next month. Here’s a few words from Take Today themselves on what the track is all about:

“This song is about overcoming adversities and showcases the band’s personalities and varying influences”
