The Dunts share new track Bad Decisions

Hotly tipped by the likes of NME, BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders and Radio X’s John Kennedy, The Dunts have dropped their blistering new single ‘Bad Decisions’ following a successful run of shows at SXSW, Live At Leeds and Hit The North.

The new offering ‘Bad Decisions’ demands attention like no other. Making their mark with ferocious drums, driving defiant guitars mixed with bouncing melodies and intelligent acerbic lyricism – their core ‘council-punk’ sensibilities shine through as they breathe new life into Scotland’s burgeoning music scene.

Explain how the single came to be, bassist Div McFarlane says;

“Bad decisions is probably the most self explanatory title to a song we have ever written. Its

about reflecting on the inevitable realisation that the pursuit of pleasure and hedonism can lead to paranoia and despair.”

With frontman Rab Smith commenting;

“We’ve all been there. Lying in bed after a night out wondering where it all went wrong. How one transitions from a state of frivolity to one of distress in a matter of hours – that’s what the song is about. We all pledge to take it easier next time, cut down the drink, cut down the nonsense, make wiser decisions, but it seldom ever happens. So this song is an ode to those bad decisions you make every single time.”

Quickly becoming one of Scotland’s hottest exports, The Dunts are set to take on Camden Rocks, TRNSMT and Cabaret Vert, promising a summer unlike any other with even more dates and festival slots to be revealed.
