Alias Kid release new single ‘Beat Up Your Soul’

Alias Kid release their BRAND NEW single ‘Beat Up Your Soul’.

The new track is a mix of upbeat rhythms and soaring guitars, with great ambience from the punchy verses and catchy, hook-y chorus. The band take inspiration on this single from the likes of Depeche Mode & Kasabian with influences from many more. Mastered at the famous Abbey Road Studios, the track also sees AK branch out into a less guitar-heavy style, with an air of maturity to it when compared to their 2015 releases. The release will be followed by AK’s upcoming EP, with various festival appearances this summer concluded by their headline Manchester gig at Band On The Wall this September 14th.

Alias Kid are a fantastic, energetic five-piece hailing from Manchester. A mix of indie rock ‘n’ roll, soaring anthems and hard-hitting guitars, they remain the only Manchester band since Oasis to be signed by music mogul and legend Alan McGee, who offered them a contract with Creation Management immediately after their first gig. He explains: “Alias Kid are a great live band with massive songs – they remind me of The Clash. They work hard and play hard, and their attitude makes them unstoppable”.
