Babymetal announce new single ‘Elevator Girl’ for May release ahead of UK return in July

BABYMETAL will release their first new piece of music since last year’s ‘Starlight’ single next month, ahead of their return to the UK. The brand new single ‘Elevator Girl’ will be released via earMUSIC on May 10th.

The dance-metal sensation have also revealed details of their return to the UK. They will play London 02 Academy Brixton on Tuesday 2nd July, marking their first UK headline show since their record breaking Wembley Arena show in April 2016. They will also have two support bands on the bill, a UK first, in the form of majestic Swedish metallers AMARANTHE and mysterious masked music collective SLEEP TOKEN.

On the other side of the Atlantic, the band reveal details of their first ever US arena headliner, where they will play The Forum in Los Angeles on October 11th.

Just recently, BABYMETAL announced that they would be releasing their third album later this year. With the news of a new album coming up, a brand new song, their long awaited return to the UK and the fact that they will be showcasing their first arena show in the U.S. at The Forum in Los Angeles, there is a lot of excitement building for what the future holds for BABYMETAL.
