HALFNOISE have released the brand new vibey video for their recent single ‘Who Could You Be‘, a perfect companion to the track’s psych-rock feel and explosive 2-minute runtime.
Directed by HALFNOISE founder/front-man Zac Farro andspeaking on the video Zac says ‘With the ‘Who Could You Be’ video I wanted to capture the energy and immediacy of the song and also have the band be seen right away instead of having a concept that is too artistic and hard to understand. As the director, I wanted to showcase the performance of the song more than the lyrical meaning. The main goal was to make a classic video that you can watch a long time from now’
No stranger to stepping behind the camera, Zac previously directed the video for HALFNOISE’s track “French Class” from 2017’s The Velvet Face EP, as well as Paramoresingles “Fake Happy” and “Told You So.” His penchant for all-things filmmaking is a natural extension of his love for film photography, which he recently showcased with the release of his limited edition first-ever photo book – In Transit – via Lomography andCongrats Records. HALFNOISE’s new single “Who Could You Be” also marks the first time that Zac has fully helmed the project’s production on his own, following co-production credits across the band’s past several releases, and has proven to be one of his most realised works to date.
