Single Mothers announce headline UK tour

Canadian hardcore quartet SINGLE MOTHERS return to the UK for a run of headline shows and a performance at 2000 Trees Festival this July.

This is the band’s first UK headline tour following their run supporting Drug Church, and since the release of their ferocious 3rd album, Through A Wall, out now on Dine Alone Records & Big Scary Monsters. The album, which Noisey called ‘their most vicious yet,’ is a blistering return to the band’s hardcore roots. Check out latest single ‘Tan Line (Like Passing Through A Wall)’ below!

Vocalist Drew Thompson commented “We’re glad to be back following up our last UK tour with Drug Church which was a lot of fun. We’ve heard so many good things about 2000 trees over the years, it’s amazing we finally get to play it – especially this year, with arguably the best line up it’s ever had.”

Recorded with the core duo of frontman Drew Thomson, producer/percussionist Ian Romano(Attack In Black, Career Suicide, City & Colour) and a rotating cast of musicians, Through A Wall revives the raging sound of SINGLE MOTHERS‘ earliest output. While the band’s 2017 LP, Our Pleasure, acclaimed by outlets such as NOISEY, BrooklynVegan, Allmusic, and CLRVYNT, showcased poppier sides of Thomson’s songwriting, he has since found a separate outlet for those inclinations in his solo project The Drew Thomson Foundation. As a result, Through A Wall is packed top to bottom with blistering riffs, breakneck tempo shifts, and mosh-ready breakdowns, channelling the intensity of the group’s live performances.
