Hailing from Bath, for fans of While She Sleeps and Parkway Drive, alternative rock outfit CIELO DRIVE will release their debut album ‘Ruins’ on the 17th May 2019. “Although our sound is nothing like any of our influences, we draw a lot of inspiration from them.” states CIELO DRIVE drummer Chris Phillips, “If you like dirty, sexy, moody, broody, shake your booty music, buy this album.”

After a recent band rebrand CIELO DRIVE have had a busy 12 months, signing a management contract with MusicHouse No.37, run by Ryan McCombs the frontman for Soil and playing a few shows up and down the UK. After spending most of their time writing and recording this debut, the band are now ready and raring to hit the ground running.
‘Ruins’ is full of some incredible ideas musically and lyrically for a debut. Dirty guitars, heartfelt and painful lyrics with a punchy melody in all the right ways and all the right quantities, ‘Ruins’ is both a creative and impressive release. “We’ve been working a long time on this album, and we think we’ve hit a sweet spot in our creativity. We’ve also got some weird ideas for music videos so keep an eye out. One of our shoot locations is particularly interesting!”
‘Ruins’ is self-released on the 17th May 2019.
