At just 18 years old, Dallas, TX native Clio Cadence, former frontwoman of Love Past Blue, is making a splash with her new “Pop Goes Metal” cover of “You Should See Me in a Crown” by Billie Eilish.
Much like this year’s breakout music sensation, Cadence sees no genre boundaries and no barriers to her creativity. Taking influence from the likes of No Doubt and We Came as Romans, Cadence drops a hip-hop infused, metal sound, with an authentic rock n roll vibe.
Cadence is currently working on her debut album and has drafted in a suitably high profile and multi-faceted array of production talent, including Michael Orlando (Dead Girls Academy) Alex Asche(Dangerkids) and Cameron Webb (Megadeth, Kelly Clarkson).
Cadence emerges as one of the up-and-coming aspiring union of talent who not only transcends genre stereotypes, but also sees the future of the music industry as boundlessly fluid and unsegmented.
Partnering with Alt Press for the release of the buoyant breakout track, Cadence’s already bubbling fan base continues to build, as does the anticipation of her as of yet untitled debut album.
