As Cities Burn release new video and announce tour

Following the news of their return, US post-hardcore outfit AS CITIES BURN have released the video for their single ‘Chains’.

The video is taken from the band’s forthcoming LP: Scream Through The Walls will be released 7th June via Equal Vision Records/Rude Records, and marks not just the end of a decade-long absence, but the first album featuring the Bonnette brothers collaborating since the band’s seminal 2005 debut, Son, I Loved You At Your Darkest.

‘Chains’ is a driving four minute anthem pulsing with urgency and the band’s signature blend of visceral energy and raw, thought-provoking lyrics. The video opens with a quote from American author, Florence King, which directly addresses both the narrative of the video and the lyrical topic of the song:

“People are so busy dreaming the American Dream, fantasizing about what they could be or have a right to be, that they’re all asleep at the switch.”

Alongside the video, AS CITIES BURN have revealed a run of headline dates in the U.S., supported by All Get Out and Many Rooms.
